The Role:

We are looking to hire a Technical Platform Administrator to join our fantastic Technical Team.

You will support with current raw material specification and upload onto our Recipe Professor System, and also oversee the raw material specification validation after upload.


Location and Hours:


Based in Nottingham, your working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 17:00, with an earlier finish on a Friday.

We also offer hybrid work-from-home arrangements.

This is a fixed term 12 month contract.


Your Duties Will Include:


  • Responsible for raw material specification upload onto the RP system and ongoing management.
  • Responsible for Authenticate raw material supply chain mapping, back to source for all raw material.
  • Supporting group raw material specification team with raw material specification review and approvals.
  • Update specifications templates
  • Obtain product specific approval documentation from existing and potential new suppliers, formal accreditations (e.g., BRC and other certification schemes), SAQs and HACCP documentation.
  • Assist Senior Raw Material Technologist in maintaining supplier documentation to ensure due diligence & audit readiness in line with legislation & specific customer codes of practice or sourcing requirements.
  • Assessment of new raw materials; liaising with NPD & Procurement to provide positive feedback.
  • Supporting profit improvement plans regarding raw material supply, working with Purchasing and site technical/ NPD to ensure changes are made in a timely manner.

Your Skills and Experience:


  • HND or equivalent in food or related discipline


  • HACCP

  • Level
  • Computer literate
  • Confident using IT packages especially Microsoft Office
  • Authenticate/ Food Connected training (Desirable)
  • Recipe Professor Training (Desirable)
  • Allergen Training (Desirable)
  • Data management skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines with high attention to detail; Selfmotivated with a "can do" attitude.
  • Team working, selfmotivation and organisational skills.
