They are looking for someone with 3 years minimum experience within a technician role and someone who has dealt with processing and operations within the Lloyd's market.


Overview of The Role

  • Administer the Runoff of assigned classes of business within Riverstone's guidelines and controls and within underwriting authority.
  • Comply to Lloyds and Riverstone minimum standards.
  • Ensure that the exposure management for the class of business is maintained and checked on a regular basis.
  • To provide information/data as and when required by in order to complete the regulatory returns

Key Responsibilities

  • To comply with appropriate systems that are in place for the monitoring and reporting of aggregate exposures for the class.
  • To comply with appropriate systems that are in place for the monitoring and reporting of premium income for the class.
  • To comply with all endorsement agreements and update changes in PINS and any other applicable systems.
  • To agree endorsements when asked and only with the permission from the Senior Underwriter.
  • To calculate profit commissions requested for all portfolios and agreeing in line with granted authority level.
  • To assist both the credit control department and the Finance department in setting up manual payments when needed for premiums not processed via Xchanging.
  • Working with the claims and reinsurance executives in regard to the claims and reinsurance operations for the class.
  • Supporting senior management in understanding and assessing risks.
  • To ensure premium estimates from transitioning business are verified and assist with credit control efforts where required.
  • Determine underwriting decisions requiring escalation and approval by the Senior Underwriter or other Senior Management.
