Customer Support Officer - Highways (Hampshire County Council)
-Winchester / Home based
-Full-Time Monday - Friday
**-22 Months contract with an option for extension or a permanent position.

You will be contributing toand supporting the delivery of a high quality service within the Highways Operation Centre.Role Responsibilities
Our Support Officers play a key role on the front line of our business, processing a large volume of enquiries.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Handling and processing a wide range of enquiries effectively and efficiently
- Accurately logging and updating enquiries on our database system to maintain accurate records, ensuring information is correct and up to date
- Investigate and escalate complex enquiries
- Manage customer expectations
- Escalate emergency enquiries appropriately as require
- Able to draft bespoke communications when required
- Work closely with other teams within Hampshire County Council to help resolve enquiries
- Support the oneteam ethos across Highways Operation Centre
- Develop and maintain service knowledge to ensure accuracy is maintained
- Moving and handling of objects, weekly requirement, up to 5kg.
- Display Screen Equipment Use.
- You may also visit our Hampshire Highways depots where you will be provided with PPE to ensure your safety
- There is a requirement for staff to work flexibly across our team at peak periods along with flexibility to support the business during out of hours to respond to weather emergencies
