We are seeking a compassionate and skilled tutor/mentor/SEN support staff to join our team and work with students with a variety of SEN and diverse needs.

You will play a crucial role in creating a supportive learning environment, delivering engaging and individualised tutoring, mentoring sessions, and collaborating with families and professionals to ensure consistent progress for each student.


About Us:


Catch-Up Academy is an accredited provider on the DfE National Tutoring Programme and recently most recently The Catch-up Academy has been awarded to be on the approved list for Wolverhampton and Nottinghamshire County Council.

We have several roles coming in which we require tutors for English, Maths and Science across KS- kS4.


Tutor Responsibilities:


  • Provide oneonone or small group tutoring sessions for students in Key Stage 1 to
  • Tailor lessons to individual student needs and learning styles.
  • Help students with homework, test preparation, and concept reinforcement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  • Encourage a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress.
  • Submit sessions reports to your Account Manager.

Qualifications:


  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
  • QTS, NQT, PGCE qualification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and the ability to work with students of various learning abilities.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
  • Right to work in UK

Schedule:

Flexible hours, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time positions.

Tutoring sessions to take place during school hours and term.


Location:

Tutoring sessions may be either in schools, public place, students' homes, or hybrid approach face to face and online.
