TheRole

Keyresponsibilities:


  • Carry out analysis related to the new E2Eactuarial valuation process, identifying opportunities, and proposing solutionsfor the same.
  • Canvas opinion on newprocesses/initiatives/models with relevant stakeholders.
  • Help to spec out model build design.
  • Assist in the testing of any new modelsbuilt including implementation testing.
  • Document decisions and approaches.
  • Troubleshoot issues with newmodels/processes/data.
  • Source new data understanding it,cleaning it, suggesting how to use it.
  • Liaise with the existing valuation teamto understand issues and efficiencies arising from new processes/models.
  • Work with various governance areas (EUC,iCare, FRCF) to ensure that new processes/model are compliant.
  • Understanding the interconnections on thenew processes and models.

YourProfile

Keyskills/knowledge/experience:


  • Reserving and Reporting of GI products.
  • Significant experience in the existingvaluation process models, processes, approaches, data, TM1, AIM, MAV.
  • Good understanding of the nonstandardareas such as PPOs, Healthcare etc.
  • High level of analytical skill andexperience particularly in handling large data volumes.
  • Good communication skills being able toexplain complex processes in terms people can understand.
  • Ability to solve complex problems andmake recommendations.
  • Very comfortable with change, has astrong desire to improve current processes by always looking for efficienciesand better ways of doing things.
  • Graduation in Engineering OR postgraduationin Actuarial, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce or Economics.
  • Credit of actuarial exams.
  • Experiencewith General Insurance clients in the UK & Ireland.
