Main Purpose of Job
To carry out duties within Movianto transport operations to a standard that satisfies Movianto quality expectations. To follow the procedures documented or briefed to ensure operations are completed. To adhere to statutory and Company requirements for the Health and Safety of yourself and co-workers.

Driving Rigids & Vans

Key Responsibilities / Outputs

Operate Company vehicles providing appropriate licences and authorisations are current
Changing routes at short notice.
Offloading and reloading of vehicles at depot and customers' premises as required
Assist with warehouse personnel to ensure delivery runs are complete before loading
Show flexibility as you may be required to undertake deliveries in other areas within our distribution zone
Carry out daily visual maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image
Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to drivers hours and tachograph regulations
Present tachograph for analysis as requested by depot management or statutory inspectors
Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Wear at all times such safety and Company uniforms as provided
Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business

Carry out all reasonable duties as directed by supervision and depot management including on occasion, driving a van where necessary to support business operations.

Qualifications / Experience required for the job (Ideal)

Previous multidrop delivery operations practical experience
Articulate, numerate and able to communicate effectively
Possession of appropriate and current licenses with no more than 6 penalty points
Good state of health and the physical ability to complete operational tasks
Smart and personally well presented.

Must have held a Class 2 (C) license and full UK drivers license for a minimum of 2 years
