Are you an Team Leader, who wants to make a difference and could lead a team and help support someone with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism?
**We currently have a great opportunity for a dedicated Team Leader to support a young gentleman who has Autism, Learning Disabilities and suffers from seizures.
The client has a great sense of humour, and will always find something to smile about everyday.

The role will be working closely with the clients parents and working together to build the best quality of care for the client.

Key Responsibilities The specific duties for each Team Leader role will be clearly defined by the Service Manager and will depend upon the needs of the individual client, however they will typically include some or all the following responsibilities:

  • Prepared to oversee a fantastic team eventually, supplying great communication and support
  • Role model excellence in your services, embedding Person Centred practice
  • Demonstrate exemplary standards of professional practice and behaviours always demonstrating Bespoke LD & A core values
  • Strong people manager and people skills.
  • Organised and IT competent
  • Have a positive attitude to enhancing people's lives
  • Be approachable
  • Empathetic to individuals needs & communication difficulties
  • Must be able to stay calm & responsive in potentially stressful situations.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Knowledge of working with Learning Disabilities and Autism
  • Experience managing a team
  • Minimum 2 years experience within health and social care
  • Previous experience of supervising staff
  • Ability to deal with conflicts
  • Ability to deal with behaviours which may challenge
  • An understanding of safeguarding and ability to identify safeguarding issues
  • A full UK drivers license is essential
