Are you an experienced Logistics Specialist looking for your next contract role?

A manufacturing business in Burton-on-Trent is looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team on a 3 month contract.

In this role you'll be planning and coordinating vendors, freight forwarders and goods-in function at the 3PL warehouse.

Working alongside the Procurement Team, you'll focus on ensuring smooth movement of materials at a global level.

You will track stock levels and sales forecasts, as well as managing both import and export documentation. Experience of dealing with customs clearance processes is also very favourable.

As you'll be liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders, strong communication skills are essential for this role. Having a working knowledge of systems including MRP and SAP would be ideal.

Hybrid working will be offered with this role, with a split of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
