Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic Marketing, Communications and Learner Engagement team.

As a key member of this team, you will report directly to the Marketing Campaigns Manager and take ownership of a variety of projects.


Your primary responsibilities will include liaising with customers to understand project specifications, providing recommendations for the production of printed and online literature, and leading the development and preparation of written content.

This will involve writing, editing, and publishing content for a range of marketing publications, such as prospectuses, brochures, products/services information sheets, case studies, newsletters, and advertisements.


In addition to producing high-quality written content, you will also be expected to review and improve existing documents, as well as draft new ones from scratch.

You will work closely with managers and other staff members from across the organisation to ensure that all content is tailored to meet the needs of our customers and the wider market.


To be successful in this role, you should have experience in using social media in a marketing and communications context, with a proven track record of developing the social media presence of a commercial organisation.

You should also possess knowledge of and experience in enhancing website SEO to improve the visibility of our online content.


As a highly competent writer, you will be able to use the English language effectively in a marketing context and be skilled in writing copy for a range of media.

You will also be an exceptional proofreader with an eye for detail.

This busy yet rewarding post requires someone who can manage competing demands and work flexibly within the team to provide marketing and communications support across the college.
