    Description

    Job Title: Assistant Tax Manager

    twentyAI is supporting a world-class hedge fund as they conduct a search for an Assistant Tax Manager to join their growing tax team.

    This role will assist in various aspects of the Group's UK and international tax compliance obligations. The successful candidate will be based in our central London office four days per week.

    Responsibilities:

    • Tax Return Review: Review direct and indirect tax returns prepared by service providers for the management companies in the Group, including liaison with internal teams and collation of information required by service providers.
    • Compliance Calendar Management: Maintain a compliance calendar to ensure tax filing requirements and manage tax payments for various jurisdictions.
    • Transfer Pricing Assistance: Assist with transfer pricing matters, including collation of information to ensure adequate global documentation and liaison with service providers.
    • Employment Tax Support: Assist with employment tax-related matters, including short-term business visitor reporting.
    • CBCR and Pillar Two Reporting: Assist with reporting requirements under CBCR and Pillar Two, from time to time also assisting with reporting requirements under FATCA and CRS matters, including registration and compliance.
    • Tax Documentation Management: Ensure that an effective tax documentation management system is maintained.
    • Ad Hoc Tax Support: Provide support to the wider business by researching and liaising with service providers on tax advisory matters and ad hoc tax queries.
    • Tax Risk and Control Processes: Assist with documenting tax risk and control processes for UK and international tax compliance obligations.
    • International Tax Monitoring: Assist in monitoring international tax developments and other projects as directed, for example, considerations for new markets and jurisdictions.
    • Tax Compliance Budgeting: Assist in managing the tax compliance budget, accruals, and engagements.
    • Internal Department Interaction: Interaction with various other internal departments, including Finance, Legal, and HR.

    Required Qualifications:

    • More than 2 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting within a professional services firm or in-house tax team.
    • Fully qualified (ACA, CTA or equivalent).
    • A team player with strong work ethic.
    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
    • Strong analytical skills and judgment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
