Manufacturing Operative - Surface Treatment Plant

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake the preparation of components for treatment
  • Undertake the chemical processes relating to the Surface Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant
  • Loading and unloading of components from the STP
  • Minor assemblies and part marking
  • Maintenance for the STP and WWTP
  • Ensure that all components meet the required quality standards
  • Undertake post treatment inspection checks
  • Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained
  • Support and train other team members when necessary
  • Read engineering drawings and carry out assembly tasks such as helicoiling

Experience and Skills Needed for this role

  • Experience in anodising, surface treatment or chemical processes
  • Minor assembly experience
  • Ability to read engineering drawings Metric and Imperial
  • Be a team player with a 'can do' attitude
  • Competent using hand tools and measuring equipment
