Responsibilities:

Lead the Science department and develop a cohesive and progressive KS5 Science curriculum.
Provide guidance and support to teachers, fostering a collaborative and innovative teaching culture.

Establish effective partnerships with parents and the wider community to promote Science education.
Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in Science education and incorporate them into the curriculum.
Organize and oversee Sciencerelated extracurricular activities and trips to enhance students' learning experience.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Science Education.
Proven experience teaching Science at KS5 level.
Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and examination requirements.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and inspire a team of educators.
A passion for Science education and a commitment to delivering highquality teaching and learning experiences.
Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
