THE ROLE:

Overall:

Contribute as a member of the teaching team to the delivery, administration and assessment of elements of programmes delivered within the School of Film, Media and Communication at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Specific:

Contribute to teaching in one or more areas of creative writing, journalism, media and film studies, film and TV production, dissertation supervision and video essays.

Areas of particular interest include film festivals & curation; marketing for film & TV transnational & global cinema; sound production; screen/script writing; fan fiction, research methods, film & TV theory, film, TV & radio practice/production, post-production sound, post-production editing (eg ProTools, Adobe, Avid, DaVinci), camera & cinematography, directing, journalism practice & theory, newsroom production/practice, global journalism, underrepresented voices in film, media and communication.

Salary

Fixed Term Sessional Teaching Fellow:
£39,347 - £42,978 per annum pro rata

Hourly Paid Sessional Teaching Fellow:
£ £22.28 per hour (Grade 7)
