Catering Assistant

Ref: 2324/062


Hours: 21 hours per week during term time 38 weeks per year.
The working pattern will be over 5 days Monday - Friday
Usual hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 10.30am - 2.30pm and Thursday 9.30am - 2.30pm. Flexibility is required around the demands of the business.


Salary:
£10,794 per annum (i.e. £21,993 pro rata per annum). Plus benefits including a
Generous Occupational Pension Scheme.

About the role
We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join the College's busy commercial catering outlets.

The role involves serving customers, till operation, food preparation, replenishing stock, and ensuring the equipment and premises are cleaned to a high standard.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while occasionally working under pressure to deliver food efficiently and on time, as part of a team, this is the role for you.


About the Person
We are looking for a great team player with a positive, can-do attitude, and a flexible approach to work.

Experience of food preparation and working in a catering environment would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.

You should have a passion for delivering friendly and efficient customer service. Full uniform provided.
