Description

We are looking for motivated and caring individuals at Queen Anne Lodge Nursing Home to support our residents.

You will be working with an experienced and diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure that the complex care needs of our residents are met.

We go out of our way to ensure that the care is tailored to each person's needs and go above and beyond to support them.

Training is provided and opportunities for further development are available.

In this role, you will predominantly be:1) Providing care and support to elderly residents

2) Ensuring that the care provided is done in a dignified, professional, and caring manner

3) Keeping accurate records of care provided

4) Working with other members of the Home and broader community/ NHS teams to ensure that resident care needs can be met


Requirements:

1) Caring and professional attitude

2) Willingness to learn from a diverse range of healthcare and non-healthcare professionals

3) DBS - as with care-related roles, a background check is mandatory and we kindly request your cooperation this during the initial stages of applying

4) Basic computer literacy (using internet, computers, etc.)

5) Whilst it is not mandated we prefer that applicants are fully vaccinated against Covid-19


Additional skills (not required):
1) Experience working in care is preferred, but not required

2) NVQ 2/3 Health and Social Care or Care Certificate

3) All staff are encouraged to pursue additional training and a wide array of courses are provided, free of charge, to help staff become more skilled

Part-time hours: per week


Salary:
£9.75-£11.00 per hour
