Senior Programme Officer - Manchester, United Kingdom - Right to Succeed
Description
As a Senior Programme Officer, you will play an integral role in supporting staff across our Greater Manchester Education programmes with a core focus on leading the coordination of these programmes to enable them to effectively deliver high quality that provides maximum impact within their respective areas.
This will include coordinating with a large number of schools (50+) across our programmes in Greater Manchester.Providing robust coordination of Education programme delivery
- Proactively working with the relevant Programme Manager and/or Director in relation to daily programme delivery tasks:
- Creating clear, robust programme delivery plans.
- Ensuring; plans are regularly monitored and iterated effectively, timely processing of payments and invoices for programme delivery and that all programme expenses, purchase orders and invoices are up to date.
- Data management including; data input, tracking and ensuring programme data is accurate and up to date.
- Attend school and partner meetings to provide administrative support as and when required.
- Proactively conducting research tasks to develop knowledge of the area/s across the current and prospective delivery areas as well supporting with quality assurance and compilation of internal and external reports.
- Team coordination including scheduling meetings and maintaining action log and being the first point of contact when core team members are unavailable
- Support coordination of other strands of work in Greater Manchester programmes at Manager's discretion
Managing the high quality delivery of key work streams within the Education strand
- Hold responsibility for the effective delivery of key programme workstreams, reporting to the Programme Manager:
- Manage stakeholder relationships and regular communication with identified delivery partners
- Identify and raise delivery risks to the Programme Manager in a timely manner
- Review and report on project progress against objectives, milestones and expected outcomes
Influencing operational relationships and when required, those at a strategic level
- Effective and appropriate partner management across key stakeholders, working collaboratively with internal teams to maintain productive relationships and ensure ongoing programme engagement
- Proactively identify risks arising with programme partners and work with the Programme Manager to mitigate these
- Lead effective communication channels between Right to Succeed, schools, local authorities and other partners, ensuring information is shared in concise, timely and proactive manner
- Conduct research tasks to develop knowledge of the local area and key challenges facing programme partners
- Represent Right to Succeed in key stakeholder meetings and advocate for the programme
- Plan and deliver events attended by programme partners and external stakeholders
- Support other colleagues working on events and discreet projects
Leading processes and systems for robust administration and coordination of a complex programme
- Oversee stakeholder management systems, working with Programme Managers to ensure processes are followed and continually improved
- Oversee assessment systems and data capturing, working with Programme Managers and Data Team to ensure data capture processes are followed and continually improved
- Oversee programme delivery systems, working with Programme Managers to ensure processes are followed and continually improved
- Oversee event management systems, working with Programme Managers and Development Team to ensure events are delivered successfully and the processes are reviewed and continually improved
- Sharing good practice in systems management across the organisation and supporting the improvement of processes and systems across other departments
Coordinating programme related external and internal communications activity
- Plan a comprehensive calendar of key milestones, events and learning opportunities across the year, including some evening and weekend events, in collaboration with the Team and external partners
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

£28,539.00 per year
