The Patient Safety Team is part of the wider Quality and Safety team. As a corporate team, we provide support to operational colleagues 5 days a week (Mon-Fri).

The wider Quality and Safety team incorporates many functions, including Infection, Prevention and Control, Risk, Quality Audit, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Compliance and Assurance and customer care.

Do you want a new opportunity or a change of direction? Now is an exciting time to come and join us in the Quality and Safety Team as we develop our Sirona strategy for Patient Safety, to learn and improve on safety for the people at the heart of what we do.

As part of the Patient Safety Team, you will support our operational teams to review and learn from incidents in line with the National Patient Safety framework, in particular assisting the team to embed the Learning from Patient Safety Events (LFPSE) system as part of our reporting, both internally and to and from external partners.

As part of the role, being familiar with incident reporting systems is an advantage.

The post holder will play a key role in managing the systems and processes for incident reporting and ensuring that accurate information is available to meet internal and external requirements.

This role is for someone with a clinical background who can support Sirona teams whilst building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.
