Position:


Role Purpose

  • Deliver exceptional levels of service in respect of project deliverables.
  • Provide effective oversight, coordination and monitoring of project plans and dependencies.
  • Working alongside multiple internal / external stakeholders ensuring deliverables are met within timeframes.
  • Manage and mitigate risk, including to the firm's reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Project Co-Ordinator on a variety of small and less complex projects.
  • Maintain and publish project tracking tools and information.
  • Accurate recording of project effort
  • Communication of project activities to the wider business.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues via a RAID log escalate issues to Project Senior Management and assist in facilitating resolution/action plans.
  • Editing Project updates, including content management with enterprise tools.
  • Organise and lead internal and external project meetings.
  • Complete project administration to a high standard by agreed SLA's.
  • Produce quality reports for projects that accurately reflect the status and risk profile of the project
  • Ensure through this reporting that all stakeholders are communicated with and engaged with the delivery of the project
  • Support Marlborough's environmental, social and governance commitments, ensuring that sustainability is considered throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage small to medium projects following our bespoke project methodology.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key contacts, internally and externally.

Requirements:


Essential Skills:

  • PC literate
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to plan; and to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Proactive Risk and Issue management and timely maintenance of the risk and issues register
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Logical approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Good attention to detail

Beneficial skills:

  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office programme suite

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs Grade A-C (must include Maths and English)

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • IOC qualification, or willingness to study towards it
  • Completed or working towards professional qualifications in project management.

Essential Experience:

  • At least 1year previous experience in a similar role

Beneficial Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
