    Description

    Award-Winning School Meals in Solihull

    We offer pupils across the borough a great range of delicious, healthy meals using locally sourced, high-quality ingredients.

    Job Description:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school's catering operations, ensuring that all food served is of high quality and meets the Government's Nutritional/Food-based Standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set and maintain a high standard of quality food presentation and service.
    • Order, prepare, and cook food following the Centralised menu plan.
    • Compile and submit statistical documentation required by the central administration office.
    • Prepare or delegate the preparation of the dining area for all types of catering requirements.

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you will need to hold an NVQ Level 2 Award in Hospitality and Catering Principles along with Level 2 Food Safety. You must also be an enthusiastic, self-motivated person able to undertake general kitchen duties, and possess excellent communication skills.

    Working Arrangements:

    This is a 30-hour per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only position based at Monkspath Primary School in Solihull.
