Are you a skilled Estimator with experience in the civil engineering and groundworks sector? An outstanding chance has presented itself to become a part of a reputable and long-standing Civil Engineering and Groundworks organisation, located in Kent.

Role:

As an Estimator on our team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for our projects.

You will work closely with our project managers and site supervisors to ensure that all aspects of the project are considered and that our estimatesare competitive and profitable.


Key responsibilities:


  • Reviewing project plans and specifications to identify scope of work, materials and equipment required
  • Gathering and analysing cost data and other relevant information to prepare estimates
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, and equipment
  • Communicating with clients and suppliers to gather information and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Reviewing project progress and recommending changes to improve performance
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks
