Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate professional to join our central Marketing Team, providing operational support to the Head of Marketing Operations and Marketing & Communications Director with whole school in-house marketing activities.

The role will champion content, copywriting and proof reading for digital and offline marketing communications, and website pages.

An integral part of the role will be to coordinate the school open days working with the wider school events team, and support with recruitment information evenings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage press releases, editorial features and school news, ensuring there is a weekly drip feed of press releases
  • Implement PR strategy working with relevant stakeholders and nurture PR database, developing beneficial external relationships
  • Support with implementation of the digital content strategy to support SEO, and write the monthly blog supported by our digital agency
  • Support with content for the recruitment campaigns, and advertising as required
  • Support with copywriting for the website as require ensuring we are on brand and the tone of voice is in the house style
  • Champion copywriting & proof reading for marketing communications, and ensure we are 'on brand' with all content
  • Copywriting for profiles & directories, ensuring we update our profiles annually and keep them fresh and on brand, supported by marketing assistant
  • Ensure content variety and post quality for social media content must be engaging, creative, and dynamic; support video first approach, video editing would be a helpful skill but not essential
  • Manage the Content Planner for social media, news & events, and chair the Weekly Content Meeting
  • Manage social media planning, and champion social content production; scheduling posts, and capturing day to day school life, including school events and sports fixtures; as well as student success stories, transformations and experiences, alumni case studies working with foundation, and content to promote our sponsors and our excellent teaching and coaching leads. Social media channels include Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr.
  • Build relationships with school community 'Content Culture', looking out for opportunities ' a nose for news' is essential
  • Deliver the School 'Courier', our monthly digital news publication for parents collating articles
  • Meet with students and parents to obtain quotes for marketing material
  • Champion 'Bank' of PR successes, accolades, testimonials, quotes & key stats & school USP's
  • Adhere to brand guidelines, aims and ethos and tone of voice style guide.
  • Support with school filming and video creation for social, and for projects as required
  • Support with open days
- virtual and in person, and information evenings as required

  • Ensure TS Consent Policy is implemented students/parents.
  • Be a proactive strong support for the daytoday operations in the marketing department.
  • Support with other projects and tasks as directed by management.
