Quality Assurance Manager

Mildenhall, Suffolk

Upto £42,000pa DOE

Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm (40 hours)

If you are quality and process driven, who isn't afraid to ask questions and have the ability to ensure that company and British Standards quality standards are adhered to, this could be the new role for you

As a Quality Assurance Manager you will bring your experience within Manufacturing to enhance and improve existing processes, ensuring that the company remain compliant with ISO & BSEN standards, create and update documents, complete audits, conduct productinspections and leading a small team.

What you will be doing:

Inspecting and ensuring all products are to the highest of standards
Follow, improve and manage quality processes and procedures
Raise recurring and serious non conformances with production management
Ensure that the company remain compliant with ISO9001, ISO14001, BSEN1090, BSEN13369 & BSEN1525
Carrying out internal audits
Maintaining QMS (Quality Management System) to ISO9001: 2015 standard
Managing quality throughout production, identifying areas for improvement
Updating and maintaining the documentation and SOP's
Developing a 'Zero Defect' approach to Quality
Using 5 why's to understand root cause of customer complaints and non conformance of products and making recommendations to prevent reocurance
Develop, motivate and communicate with the Quality team

About you:

You will have previous Quality Assurance auditing within Engineering / Manufacturing
Experience of Quality Management System
Ability to develop and manage a team
Strong problem solver 5 why's / 8D Methodology
Ability to demonstrate company values and embrace company vision
Strong communication skills and confidence in asking questions
