Salary:
£26,000 - £27,500 + Benefits

Location:
Brixton area

Hours: 37.5hpw (Shift rotation)

Mon - Fri with weekends required 1 in 6

8am-4pm

10am-6pm

1pm-9pm

Outpatient Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:

Come aboard our team as a Pharmacy Counter Assistant and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our Outpatient Pharmacy.

We are seeking individuals dedicated to excellence and eager to contribute to patient care.

Work closely with pharmacy staff, guided by the pharmacy manager, to efficiently handle retail medicines and products, ensuring timely ordering and effective inventory control.
Identify potential issues in medication administration, such as drug interactions, newly prescribed medications, and factors impacting patient compliance, thus enhancing patient safety.
Assist in establishing and maintaining a highquality outpatient service, prioritizing patient satisfaction and wellbeing.
Dispense prescriptions to patients safely and accurately, following established protocols andprocedures.
Offer knowledgeable advice to patients regarding medication usage and general healthwithin your scope of competence, referring to a pharmacist when necessary.
Receive and dispense completed prescriptions under the guidance of the Responsible Pharmacist, providing feedback to the pharmacist on patient information provided orrequested.
Maintain proper storage conditions for retail products, ensuring the preservation of productintegrity and quality.

Requirements:

At least 1 year pharmacy experience
