Role Overview:


Develop your knowledge of warehousing & logistics throughout the organisation, understanding how each element of the logistics team works successfully.

This is also a progression opportunity taking you through an apprenticeship scheme.


Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on

  • Learn and adhere to all company environment, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines and processes and be proactive and mindful in all tasks undertaken.
  • Submit each area of apprenticeship workbased learning to the standard required in line with education providers completion dates.
  • Working as part of a busy team, involved in activities from supplier deliveries through to the despatching of customer orders with a focus on quality of service to include:
  • Receiving
  • Put away
  • Picking
  • Packing
  • Loading
  • Cycle counting and stock checks
  • ERP/WMS usage
  • Undertake and pass all Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) training.
  • Develop and foster cross functional key relationships with wider logistics and business teams to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Develop and drive your own personal development plan.

Your previous experience is likely to include.
Dealing with high volume work in a timely manner and to short deadlines with high attention to detail. You will be comfortable using Microsoft Office Software such as Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

GCSE D grade or above in English and Maths.
