Are you an Early Careers or experienced Science Teacher looking for a permanent role from September 2023?

We are looking for a Science Teacher to work on a permanent basis to teach science (any specialism) through KS3 and KS4 at a school in South Birmingham.

Science Teacher - Person Specification

We are looking for a confident and eager Science Teacher who can ensure that their lessons are accessible for all.

The ideal Science Teacher should have a genuine care towards inspiring the future-leaders.

You will also provide a clear view of where the schoolsvisions are leading, and a natural ability to fit in from the word 'go'.

About the Science Teacher Role

This Science Teacher role involves you teaching as part of a high-achieving Science department, and you will be ensuring your students are hitting their academic targets.

You will also be able to make full use of an assigned teaching assistant, who will beon hand to support you both in, and out of lessons.

Day-to-day, you will be absorbing the advice of your mentor Headteacher, who is keen to provide you designated support at every stage of your development.

The Science Teacher should maintain a fair and inclusiveattitude throughout their time in the department and teach in accordance with the department's principles.

The Senior Leadership Team can offer you an extensive training package, with the aim of providing CPD for all teachers and developing them into 'Outstanding'practitioners.
