Job Description Java Developer (Space)
Position Description
CGI is a leading provider of ground segment software for the world's most advanced telecommunications satellites.

We work on the major European navigation, communication and earth observation programmes and are specialists in space security and ground controlsystems.

Description
We are looking for senior, mid-level and junior developers to join the team.
Required skills

Commercial Java development experience
Excellent problemsolving ability

Desirable skills

Optimisation engines eg Optaplanner
SatComs knowledge
Experience with modelling complex systems

Your future duties and responsibilities

Work as part of the development team to deliver new capability to the customer while improving earlier iterations of the system;
Take an active part in design appropriate to their seniority changes;
Produce and update documentation at a defined standard;
Design, code, and unit test assigned work packages;
Support factory acceptance,FAT/SAT, user acceptancesys testing and other assurance activities;

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Commercial Java development experience
