The Payroll Team in the UK is part of the Regional HR Operations team and is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of Deutsche Bank's permanent employees based in the UK, Ireland, and Sweden.

In this role you will be responsible for understanding and preparing all the regulatory and statutory reporting for the region.

Your key responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for understanding and preparing all the regulatory and statutory reporting (PAYE Settlement Agreement, Employment Procedures (EP) Appendices, Benefits in Kind Reporting, Gender Pay Gap, Director Remuneration, & Office for National Statistics Survey etc.)
  • Supporting Payroll continuous improvement lead and Head of payroll on reviews and reconciliations of statutory and regulatory reporting
  • Support payroll team on modified PAYE reporting and reconciliation
  • Support payroll team on complex reconciliations on time to time
  • Ensure the payroll accounts accurately reflect the payroll payable position and items are cleared within their expected lifecycle

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in payroll reconciliations with a highvolume UK payroll exposure
  • Excellent in multitasking, planning ahead/ organisational, followup skills
  • Aptitude for continuous learning
  • Hands on experience in employment tax returns and payroll accounting (preferred)
  • SAP Payroll experience (preferred)
  • Strong sense of Integrity, Trust & Fairness
