A welcoming, professional family relocating to a small picturesque village located between Sawston & Linton is seeking a full-time professional Nanny to take care of their 18 month old twins.

The position is offered on a long term, sole charge basis & can be live-in OR live out.

With both parents WFH (away from communal areas) it is very important that the successful applicant is a great fit with them as well as the children personality wise.

A driver with their own car is preferred but not essential for this role & the family can provide a parking space.

The successful applicant will be kind, reliable, gentle within their approach to childcare, enjoy spending time outdoors & able to consistently use their own initiative to keep the children safe, healthy & stimulated

Start date: 25th July 2023 or up to one week later for the right person.


Core Hours:

Monday to Friday 40-45 hours per week, 8.00am - 5.00pm preferred, or 9.00am - 5.00pm considered for the right person.


Salary:
£12 - £15 gross per hour dependent on hours agreed, qualifications, previous experience & live in VS live out.


Duties:

All general nursery duties including children's laundry, planning & preparing fresh & nutritious snacks/meals, batch cooking, organisation & rotation of toys, care of both children during the day including, managing naps, planning fun & educational activities inside & outside of the family home, to work with the parents as partners at all times, general tidying & upkeep of the communal areas which the children use (kitchen, living room, dining room) including vacuuming/mopping, assisting with the dishwasher, keeping sideboards clean etc.

The family would really appreciate someone who is able to cook an evening meal for the entire family on occasion but this is not mandatory.

To be considered for this position,

You must live and have the right to work in the UK.

You must have a minimum of two immediately contactable previous employer references.

You must have an up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate or be willing to complete one.


A formal childcare qualification is not mandatory, however, you must have at least 2 years' professional experience of working with multiples of a similar age.

Up to £15.00 per hour
