The Role


To support our continuous growth, we are now looking for a Finance Associate (Accounts Receivable) to join our global Finance team in London (HQ).

Working in a friendly and collaborative team, your main responsibility will be to coordinate, manage and maintain an efficient sales ledger; and to drive revenue collection.

The position offers the opportunity to take on responsibility in your role, and with time, the chance to progress within the team, and receive full support with your CIMA qualifications

The Finance team at AlphaSights is an expanding, global function responsible for planning, accounting, controlling and, ultimately, enabling our fast-paced and high-growth business.

Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, you will be:

  • Producing sales invoices and credit notes in an accurate and timely manner
  • Allocating and reconciling all funds received
  • Managing daytoday client queries on billing and service usage
  • Continuously following up with clients to recover outstanding amounts
  • Reviewing in detail the monthly Aged Debtors Report to ensure its accuracy
  • Dealing with client related Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding Tax (WHT) issues
  • Where relevant, carrying out ad hoc projects as required

What We Look For

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics or Accounting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to consult and positively engage with a wide variety of people/personalities to professionally deliver on requirements
  • A keen eye for detail and diligent approach to work
  • They are selfmotivated, have a analytical mindset, are good with figures, organised and able to manage a busy workload with conflicting priorities
  • A proactive approach, with a focus on the right solution, professionalism and value
  • The ability to provide a handson, flexible approach, willing to respond professionally, enthusiastically and positively
  • Fluency in English and Korean required (native level)
