Skilled Polisher/Fettler Engineer is required by long established and respected engineering manufacturing Company.

This interesting and varied "hands-on" role is working in building food processing machinery in Stainless steel.

The role is working in a small polishing department of 4 metal polishing engineers.

You will need to have significant experience in polishing and fettering working on Stainless-Steel metal finishes. (Satin / Mirror / shot blast / scotch-bright)

Basic Function

You will be required to work in a small vicinity with extraction but quite a dirty environment.
You will also be required to work on large machinery outside of the polishing shop due to the magnitude of machines we are manufacturing in size.
You may be required to go onsite from time to time to help assist in the installation of the equipment to customers.

You would be contracted to work 39 hours per week, Monday - Friday with a 10-minute break 10.00 am am, and 1⁄2 hour lunch break 1.00 pm pm.

Working Hours:
Monday 7.30 am pm / 1.30 pm pm

Tuesday 7.30 am pm / 1.30 pm pm

Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am pm / 1.30 pm pm

Friday 7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime).

Overtime is generally available and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.

Subsidised drinks and snacks are available from vending machines.

Your rate of pay is dependent on experience.

2 years of experience is required with 2 references.

The rate is £13 per hour (depending on experience).
