SeniorBuildingSurveyor-Qualifications- Atleast2-3yearsPostQualificationExperiencewiththeRoyalInstitutionofChartered Surveyors.

SeniorBuildingSurveyor-EssentialCriteria- A willingness to undertake local and firm wide business development initiatives and increasedevelopment of the building consultancy service delivered from our Office.

  • Proactive selfstarter with good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively;both orally and in writing.
  • Highlevelofattentiontodetailandanenquiringmind.
  • Theabilitytomanagetimeeffectively,prioritisingtaskstoensurethatdeadlinesaremet.
  • Theabilitytoproduceclearandconcisewrittenreportsandrecommendations.
  • Akeenteammemberwiththeabilitytoacceptresponsibilityandworkontheirowninitiative.
  • Goodclientrelationshipskills.
  • A good working knowledge of IT is essential, in particular with Microsoft Office packages, Excel and AutoCAD.
  • Excellentorganisationalskillswiththeabilitytoprioritiseworkload.
  • Experienceundertakingbuildingsurveysandschedulesofcondition.
  • ExperienceinthedesignandrefurbishmentofexistingbuildingsandtheContractAdminrole.
  • KnowledgeofPlanningandBuildingRegulations.
  • DefectAnalysis Havetheability to analyseand identify disrepair inabuilding, preparereports explaining the defects and explain the rectification measures.
  • ExperienceinHealthandSafetyprocedures(CDM).
  • ExperienceinSpecificationwritingandputtingtogetherTenderDocumentation.
  • Abletomanageandprovideadvice/guidancetomorejuniormembersofstaff.
  • Abletogeneralfeeearningworkforthebusiness.
