Description

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Manage and distribute goods to new build housing developments
  • Liaise with Line Manager and Contracts Managers to minimize stock waste on site
  • Support stores in preparing packs for sites
  • Coordinate with engineers for stock delivery and collection
  • Ensure safe stock delivery to sites
  • Work as part of a team and occasionally alone in the stores office area
  • Perform site clearances in a transit vehicle
  • Maintain moderate stock levels to benefit the business
  • Handle ad-hoc duties as needed, including order placement and pack preparation
  • Adhere to Company Health and Safety policies

Key Challenges

  • Maintain smooth operation of the stores daily
  • Ensure timely stock distribution/collection
  • Develop efficient processes in line with the CRM system

Key Relationships

  • Procurement Manager
  • Contracts Managers
  • Engineers

Decision Making Authority

  • Make daily decisions on task management
  • Essential criteria: Driving licence, experience with Microsoft Office

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

  • Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
