Description
Job Description
Please note that this is a Long Term Temporary position to start as soon as possible.
The minimum duration of this position will be 3 months.
About the Role
Rochdale Family Support and Protection Service is seeking Advanced Practitioners to join us on an exciting journey as we transition into a new way of working. Advanced Practitioners play a vital role in our service, supporting our Social Workers and Team Managers in the operational management of the team.
They assist with maintaining the performance and quality of the service, providing an opportunity to develop and enhance management skills while continuing to work with children and families, albeit with a reduced caseload.
Our Current Transition
Rochdale is undergoing an exciting transition to a family safeguarding model. To support this, we aim to establish multi-disciplinary teams where specialist practitioners are co-located with social workers under a unified management structure. This enables a multi-disciplinary whole family response through direct assessment.
This is a pivotal time for Rochdale, and we require Advanced Practitioners to support us in implementing this model.
What We Offer
Our Agency's Approach
Our agency workers are considered a valuable resource, receiving the same level of support and opportunities as our permanent staff.
