About the Role
We're looking to grow our Operations Team with the addition of a Production Operative. This role will support our order fulfilment process by building, testing and dispatching hardware required for customer orders.


You will build and configure all hardware as well as setup the customer portal within the FourJaw platform to the customer's needs.


You will communicate internally with stakeholders in Sales, Customer Success and Development to dispatch products on time and to a high standard of quality.


Other roles of a similar nature will have the following job titles: Technical Operative, Technical Engineer, IT Technician, Systems Engineer, Production Operative, Assembly Technician, IT Support Technician.


What You'll Work On

  • Using a defined onboarding process and information provided by the customer, build the MachineLink hardware, which will include assembly and basic component soldering of PCBs. Provision the MachineLinks and perform endtoend testing of the hardware
  • Setup the customers FourJaw webpage with details provided from the customer
  • Package and ship the hardware to the customer
  • Update the status of the job within the business software
  • Remotely troubleshoot any hardware connectivity issues using inbuilt tools and processes
  • Maintain and control an appropriate component stock for the hardware
  • Support the Customer Success Team in providing technical support through the onboarding pipeline, liaising with the Development team where appropriate

Your Personal Qualities

  • High attention to detail, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard and a right firsttime approach to hardware configuration
  • You're comfortable working with technology, both from a hardware and software perspective
  • You're able to follow stepbystep instructions to correctly build hardware
  • You can problem solve technical issues that arise and escalate to the Development Team where necessary.
  • You will be a resilient and enthusiastic person, comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
  • You are comfortable working within a small, high growth organisation, supporting and contributing to the development of the business and it's processes.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience working in a similar role is desirable or a keen interest in computer hardware/software
  • Previous experience working in a production environment is desirable
  • Basic soldering experience is desirable however full onthejob training will be provided
  • GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English

£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
