I am currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy accounts team, full-time, within Huntingdon for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The day-to-day responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Ensure sales ledgers are correct and prepared for monthly statement runs.
  • Ensure all bank payments are raised accurately and timely.
  • Ensure cashbooks are posted within the deadlines.
  • Ensure suppliers are paid within their terms.
  • Highlight any financial discrepancies to relevant accountant and the group accounting supervisor
To be consider for the role, the following skills and experience will be needed:

  • Experience in an account's office.
  • Bank reconciliation & purchase ledger experience.
  • Attention to detail
