What you'll do

We are looking for a waste operative with experience of driving LGV vehicles (ideally Class 2 driver) to join our on-site TWM team at Drax power station, where you will be required to aid in the on-site transfer of segregrated wastes, and the sorting andpreparation of waste materials across the site


Other duties include:

  • Ensuring all vehicles and equipment used are inspected and maintained
  • Contributing to a positive safety culture
  • Managing waste to assist in the compliant storage and efficient removal of all wastes
  • Segregating waste and packaging waste
  • Monitoring and reporting operational safety and compliance issues

The experience you will need:

Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence inc Category Bdriving license
  • Successful medical examination
  • Successful LGV Veolia driving assessment
  • FLT driving qualification

Desirable:

  • Previous Class 2 driving experience
  • Waste Management experience
  • IOSH Managing Safely or higher
