What you'll do

We are looking for a waste operative with experience of driving LGV vehicles (ideally Class 2 driver) to join our on-site TWM team at Drax power station, where you will be required to aid in the on-site transfer of segregrated wastes, and the sorting andpreparation of waste materials across the site

Other duties include:

Ensuring all vehicles and equipment used are inspected and maintained
Contributing to a positive safety culture
Managing waste to assist in the compliant storage and efficient removal of all wastes
Segregating waste and packaging waste
Monitoring and reporting operational safety and compliance issues

The experience you will need:

Essential:

Full UK driving licence inc Category Bdriving license
Successful medical examination
Successful LGV Veolia driving assessment
FLT driving qualification

Desirable:

Previous Class 2 driving experience
Waste Management experience
IOSH Managing Safely or higher
