You will be part of the production leadership team driving the fulfilment of materials and finished goods for work and customer orders against tight schedules.

You will play a central role in ensuring the success of our manufacturing operation and the satisfaction of our customers.

Skills and Experience Required
Excellent English oral, written and numerical skills
Good computer proficiency
Experience of a Warehouse Management System or SAP Business One
Knowledge and experience of Goods In / Out, Work Orders and stock control
Knowledge of Road, Sea and Air packing, shipping and associated hazard requirements
Good analytical and excellent prioritisation skills
Very organised with good health & safety awareness and behaviours
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and tidy

Leading, mentoring, supporting and developing a small team.

Job Specification:


  • Production Management_
Assist production planning with stock allocation, batch control and work closely with other departments, particularly procurement and quality control.

  • Warehouse Management_
Receiving, Blocking, Putting Away and Returning Goods
Cycle-Counting and Blending
Waving, Rating, Picking, Shipping and Returning Finished Goods
Compiling or generating documentation including Checklists, Manifests and Dangerous Goods etc.

  • General_


Assist with packing and despatch planning prioritising requirements for production and customer orders to ensure customer orders will be met in full and on time.

This includes picking, packing and miscellaneous activities required for the safe and smooth running of the production environment:

Document & label preparation
Packing - both manual and pumped
Labelling
Palletisation
Liaising with Hauliers for UK & Overseas

Arrange shipments of goods and samples to countries worldwide.
Use of Supplier, Freight and Partner web-sites to book shipments.
Track orders and investigate any short or damaged deliveries.
Matching supplier delivery notes with goods actual received and resolving discrepancies to assist the material manager and finance with invoice matching


As you can see this is a varied role so the above list is not comprehensive and you may be asked to perform other tasks as necessary.

Monday to Friday
42.5 hour / week


Experience:


  • 1 year minimum

Packing Liquids ( 25 kg and above )


Salary:
£28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
