Job Description:

Deputy Chief Risk Officer
To support and provide cover for the Cheif Risk Officer across Operational and Enterprise Risk.

Ensure all policies are compliant with Regulatory, Legal and Client requirements

Identify WFOSL risks and WFOSL supplier risks inline with the WFOSL risk assessment policy.

Working with the CRO assess WFOSL's strategic objectives, emerging and evolving threats, new business, existing business performance and performance indicators, compliance threats and macro economic conditions.

Create a risk assessment plan and resource requirements necessary to support it.

Provide ExCo briefing on the Risk Functions priorities, immediate requirements for improvement and areas of horizon monitoring.

Where specific risk control monitoring and reporting requirements are deemed necessary the Governance team will feed in to plan development, identify resource and control oversight requirements.

Identify the appropriate level of funding necessary to deliver changes within the risk tolerances and the overall Risk Appetite.

Participate in programmes that require capital expenditure and provide a risk report to the CRO. The CRO will present the findings and recommendations to the Risk Committee and appropriate stakeholders.

Document Risk Terms of Reference and formally document its Operating & Controls Models

Organise, conduct and facilitate all Risk Management, Management meetings.
Degree or Higher
20 plus years relavent experience
