Millyard Peoples is delighted to be partnering with an iconic technology company looking to appoint a Finance Transformation Lead into their finance team.
This position will play an instrumental role in driving finance transformation which will in turn deliver enhanced business outcomes.In this impactful position, you will own the charge in transforming finance on our maturity journey, creating and delivering strategic finance project plans working across multiple areas of the business and across all areas of Finance.
Identifying opportunities and improving processes, amplifying system capabilities, identifying industry best practices, and further evolving our finance organisation to unlock its full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support defining of the vision and strategic roadmap for finance to build a finance function suitable for our company's growth ambitions
- Partner with finance leaders to identify areas of opportunity and define the scope of projects aimed at improving finance effectiveness and efficiency
- Assess SOPs and providing recommendations for process improvement
- Collaborate with various teams and Finance teams to determine solutions to business issues
- Supervise projects and timelines, ensuring the successful completion of projects
- Deliver engaging presentations on projects and initiatives, and presenting status reports to stakeholders as well as reporting on completed projects and their impact
- Lead change management and communications efforts to effectively communicate and manage the changes occurring within Finance and partnering with related business areas
- You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth transition and encouraging alignment across the organisation
- Drive alignment of financial processes across globally distributed teams
- Design, develop, and implement strategic finance programs to elevate performance
- Present workshops to guide teams through transformational initiatives
- Provide support to leaders in strategic analysis and project scoping
- Qualified chartered accountant (ACCA, CA, CIMA or ICAS) or relevant finance experience
- Exceptional ability to lead and facilitate workshops that drive change
- Strong expertise in financial process optimisation and alignment to business needs.
- Proficient in producing clear and concise progress reports and presentations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams
- You are extremely organised, proactive and self driven
- Demonstrate and develop strong stakeholder relationships and management
- Very comfortable with ambiguity and excels at bringing clarity and structure
- Experience of endtoend functional change delivery: requirements definition; design; build; test; implement; optimise
- Experience of automation of finance processes and controls
- Experience with Workday is helpful and will help you lead our financial innovation
