Within this role you will ensure that Study Group and the College are fully compliant with its obligations as a Safer Recruitment Organisation.


Maintaining the Study Group HR system whilst ensuring that key documents are kept accurate at all times and ready for inspection should the need arise.

To ensure the College is always financially compliant adhering to company policies and procedures.


Manage the incoming and outgoing College finance, making sure that invoices and orders are completed in line with local and Study Group policies.


To ensure student attendance is input by all tutors ensuring that other stakeholders in the business have the information they need in a timely manner.


ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Manage the staff recruitment onboarding process to ensure the College is always compliant and that staff records are created enabling them to have a smooth transition into the College.
  • Ensure that all staff records for annual leave and sickness are correct and that reports are available for all key stakeholders.
  • Lead on the sessional staff timesheet process to ensure they are paid accurately and on time.
  • To assist the Head of Compliance in the upkeep and maintenance of the College's Single Common Register (SCR)
  • Processing orders for supplies and services as requested by key College staff.
  • Ensure that invoices are processed correctly to ensure that supplier invoices are paid in a timely manner.
  • Monthly reconciliation of the College petty cash.
  • Assist the Head of Compliance in data gathering to enable budgetary forecasting to take place, as and when required.
  • Work with our Head Office Finance Team in chasing students for outstanding student fees prior to and during their studies, in line with agreed processes and procedures.
  • To oversee the tutor attendance monitoring process to ensure tutor attendance is input enabling other functional teams to act on the information available.
  • To oversee the student attendance inputting of large group sessions.
  • To lead on the data quality of this inputting to ensure the student's attendance record is 100% accurate.
  • Raising any issues with tutor attendance posting to senior staff within the College
  • Work with your counterpart within the Student Experience (Compliance) Team who leads on the other areas of responsibility within the team ensuring there is always an adequate level of support.
  • Deputise, along with the Student Experience Compliance Coordinator, for the Head of Compliance, as and when required.
  • Providing resources and support for other teams within Student Experience, as and when required

ABOUT YOU

  • Educated to GCSE English & Maths or equivalent or substantial professional experience
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills and experience.
  • Ability to balance priorities to deliver consistently to the deadline.
  • Ability to organise events/activities/projects.
  • Gathering of relevant information to aid good decisionmaking.
  • Excellent IT and data management skills including competency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Docs and a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
  • Ability to extract reports and analyse data for reporting, to aid decision making or to support a case for change.
  • Experience in leading or supervision a suitably complex task or project, which achieved a successful outcome.
  • Experience providing feedback to another person about their performance, which achieved a positive improvement.
