(Real Time & Embedded - Discipline Management)
PROFILE:
- You graduated with a Master of Engineering or Computer Science or in University, and you have significant experience in team management
- You want to evolve in a "real time" environment with interactions between "low level" technical aspects, close to the hardware, and ensure that the "high level" functionality expected by the solution is maintained
- You are willing to work on small or big devices such as Radar, embedded calculator equipment, Smartcards and Wearables, dedicated for the Telecommunications and IOT businesses, mobile...
- You are a leader willing to engage and develop your team through the use of collaborative work and challenging approaches
- You love to share knowledge and help people develop themselves, which enables you to be recognised as a great mentor and teamplayer
- You are responsible and show a great sense of initiative
COMPETENCIES:
- You are able to empower and unite employees around clear objectives by acting as a coach and servant leader, which mobilises influencing and "team first" skills
- You foster competitiveness and performance improvement
- You have substantial knowledge of RTE technologies, tools, methods, practices and processes

KEY DUTIES
- Take in charge the Discipline Practices and Tools tailoring and deployment (incl. digitisation, automation, data management) across Projects and Products
- Be responsible for the adoption of new technologies
- Ensure the capitalisation and sharing of knowledge and assets (building blocks, cost estimating models, best practices, etc.)
- Foster continuous improvement based on root cause analysis, problem solving, new practice deployment,
- Manage people within your discipline and ensure their development (skills management, coaching, career development, mindset), the adequacy with the expected needs (quality and quantity) at the right time and the allocation to the Bids and Projects
- Perform technical reviews associated with their discipline on Bids/Products and Projects
- Ensure Operational Subject Matter Experts allocate part of their time to coach and train engineering people about the Domain activities
