Our client, based in South Milford, is currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team.

Position Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in structural steelwork who is looking to further their career in a dynamic and growing company.
The role offers competitive pay, with rates of up to £19 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG and MMA welding to high quality standards, following engineering drawings and specifications.
Fabricate structural steel components using various tools and equipment.
Conduct visual inspections of welded components to ensure they meet required standards of quality and accuracy.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and tools.
Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment, materials, or safety hazards to management promptly.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, preferably within a structural steel background.
Competency in both MIG ,TIG and MMA welding techniques.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Relevant welding/fabrication certifications or qualifications would be advantageous.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
