Job Summary:
Macdonald & Company are working with a PropCo based in Central London who are looking for a Commercial Management Surveyor to join the business.
This client-side opportunity allows exposure to Asset Management, Property Management and Landlord & Tenant work and will oversee the effective day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of commercial investment properties across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct Agents with regards to the letting of vacant units, agree terms of new lettings, instruct solicitors, answer tenants enquiries and discuss proposed lease amendments
- Instruct Surveyors to negotiate with tenants on rent reviews and lease renewals
- Assist with the collection of rent, service charges and insurance premiums
- To arrange for the service of schedules of dilapidation's and recommend settlements
- Ensure compliance with H&S, Fire and Disability regulations and statues
- Liaise with inhouse and external consultants
- Prepare feasibility studies showing the viability of expending capital in connection with redevelopment and refurbishment projects
About You:
- Ideally MRICS Qualified, although not essential
- Experience in commercial management and landlord & tenant work
- Communicative, diligent and numerate
- Strong ability to build tenant relationships
