Landlords' Little Helper is an Edinburgh based company that was established in 2017. We provide a range of services to landlords across the city.

Services we provide include holiday let cleaning and turnaround services; end of tenancy deep cleans; property maintenance; and organising landlord compliance checks.

We work with letting agents and private landlords to help them deliver an excellent experience to their tenants and guests.

We have a portfolio of properties that we provide planned and reactionary maintenance to.

This position is to add to the team and support our current Handyman and holiday let cleaning team. The position is to cover the afternoon and evening, from 2pm to 8pm.


Common work carried out includes:
Quick essential fixes in properties for guests and tenants including replacing light bulbs, fixing toilet flushes, replacing and tightening toilet seats, stopping leaks, installing or fixing curtain poles and blinds, sealing baths & showers


On the evening shift you may be asked to attend to help guests with fixing immediate issues, such as boiler pressure needing to be topped up, door handle coming off, thermostat coming disconnected from the boiler etc.

Working on ongoing refurbishment projects, including bathrooms, laying new floors, painting & decorating.

General maintenance in empty properties.

General garden and outdoor space tidying

Carrying out compliance tests if qualified to do so (such as PAT, Legionella etc).

You'll work in a team with a maintenance team. This position is to cover Evenings and on day at the weekends from 10am to 4pm at the weekends.

The contract will be for 30 hours, but you can work additional hours if you'd like to when there is work available.

You'll have access to a van and tools during your shift. Vehicles are shared with other members of the team as required.


The position will suit someone who has worked within maintenance before, you should have a range of skills across a few trades, but you may not have a trade qualification.

You will work independently.

You'll come to the office in Leith in the morning and then head out to various flats to complete your work.

You should be able to work independently and use an app on your phone to receive jobs, and update progress on them.

The hours are slightly flexible, so if they don't quite fit, but you could tweak them then please still get in touch.

Properties are located across Edinburgh, Midlothian & East Lothian.

£13.00-£14.00 per hour
