Job Description:

Are you a Building Surveyor looking to work on building projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last?

If so we are looking for a Building Surveyor Building Surveyor to join our team in Birmingham to work for a variety of clients and instructions.

You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

About Our Team:

We have building surveying teams across the UK, working together to meet our clients needs.

Our Birmingham team covers a variety of project and professional work ranging from design and project management through to building condition surveys.

clients vary from Justice and Education through to private organisations.

Responsibilities:

Lead on individual Building Surveying, design and Contract Administration commissions.
Survey and Report writing for the full range of typical core professional Building Surveying services.
Construction monitoring and snagging assessments.
Client development skills to develop business with existing clients and confidence to win new work.
Continuous improvement to our standards, processes and knowledge to deliver to our core clients.
Be able to build relationships with existing and new clients, including within AECOM.
Knowledge of NEC contracts is advantageous.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Experience in all core Building Surveying work areas especially in condition surveys, design and contract administration.
Experience of working and building relationships within the private and public sector
Previous management of sub consultants and contractors
Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Chartered Building Surveyor
Have excellent client facing experience.
Have an open willingness to support developing surveyors and respond to their questions.
Be a role model to the team, setting high standards and expectations.
