Customer Service Advisor Apprentice
Circa £15,000 Salary, rising to £18,000 upon successful completion of Apprenticeship
Full Time position
Permanent Contract
Location:
Usk, Monmouthshire
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

About the Agency
As a local agency of NFU Mutual we deliver a first-class service, and sell their product range across our region, to customers old and new, who are at the core of everything we do.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Usk Agency.
About the role
- Handling general customer enquiries, policy alterations and renewals by phone.
- Selling new NFU Mutual insurance policies; with a focus on home and car insurance.
- Introducing NFU Mutual Financial Services products to new and existing customers.
- Provide support to the rest of the team when needed.
- Support with general office administration duties.
About you
- People who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients.
- A proficient IT user with good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- A positive 'can do' attitude to problem solving and solution finding and enjoy working in a customer support and sales environment. You will take pride in meeting compliance requirements and having a meticulous eye for detail is essential.
- Minimum of GCSE grade C or better in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- The ability to learn new systems, products, processes and skills.

Good Repute Checks
NFU Mutual Agents are required to ensure that they and their staff are of Good Repute and are required to carry out two independent checks on all staff.
- Basic criminality check -Basic checks show any 'unspent' criminal records (as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act Once a conviction or caution is 'spent', it no longer shows on a basic check.
- Bankruptcy check - to ensure that staff are not an un-discharged bankrupt.
