Our prestigious client based in Derbyshire, looking to expand their team and looking for a Section Deputy

Objectives:


  • Assist the Section Leader in achieving the required service levels at all times, whilst ensuring an efficient and cooperative working environment, optimum productivity, tightly controlled inventory, mínimal costs, strong due diligence and accurate accounts.
  • In fulfilling their duties the Deputy Section Leader has to manage their employees according to the principles of the Management System. The Section Deputy has the responsibility to motivate their employees, encourage excellent performance and ensure high levels of staff retention.
  • The Section Deputy works according to the principles of our Corporate Responsibility policy.
  • The Section Deputy, deputises for the Section Leader.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Authorises the working hours, time off and breaks. As well as overtime if required, of all employees in their department.
  • Assists with organising the holiday schedule of their employees.
  • Determining the suspension of their employees and informing their Section Manager immediately.
  • Controlling all paperwork to and from stores.
  • Controlling stock rotation.
  • Carry out individual tasks requested by their leader, which are in the nature of the Job Description or are deemed to be a necessity of the business.

Shifts that all Deputies cover are:

Day shift

  • 4am to 2pm
  • 8am to 6pm
  • 1pm to 10pm

Night shift

  • 5pm to 3am
  • 7pm to 4am/5am
Previous experience as Deputy or Warehouse Supervisor is required


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
