Automotive Teacher

Are you a Teacher/Lecturer of Automotive or maybe you are a Vehicle Technician who wants to come away from the workshop?


Our partner college located in Harlow are looking for a Automotive Teacher to join them on a permanent basis ASAP.


What we are looking for

If you have:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Heavy and/or Light Vehicle
  • Teaching qualification, or the willingness to undertake
  • Industrial experiencel


The programs the automotive team delivers are designed to engage and motivate students who are interested in learning about the maintenance of motor vehicles and the various roles that are available in the retail motor industry.

They utilise practical based investigations and assessments of the motor vehicle and its sub-systems. This is supported by the use of dedicated computer software for the delivery of theoretical knowledge. The programs can supplement progress to appropriate destinations, such as apprenticeships and employment.

The teacher works with students and other members of the team to ensure each student achieve their daily targets.

You will be required to deliver, assess and develop the learner experience to enable them to achieve their learning goals, in accordance with the College's values and ethos.
