JOB PURPOSE
- Management of the purchase order approval process, raising of purchase orders as required.
- Resolution of purchase order and vendor invoice queries
- This position is responsible for reporting all elements of site spend
- Checking and releasing material costings
- Support the site accountants in producing monthly and annual controls in line with SOX compliance
- Monthly reporting of cost centres to senior managers with explanation of variances and significant spend.
- Production of daily sales and Added Value tracker
- General administrative duties, supporting the Finance Department which will involve training on several tasks to ensure effective cover
- Raising and releasing sundry debit and credit notes and Funds Transfer requests
JOB DIMENSIONS & SCOPE
The role will provide administrative and transactional support for Amcor Flexo UK in the production of flexible packaging. The position will be focused around supporting the site Accountant at our Evesham manufacturing plant.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage cost centre control process.
- Manage purchasing processes together with follow up of blocked documents and resolution of vendor queries
- Cost Centre reporting to account owners
- Finance control ownership and liaising with external and internal audit teams
- Help manage purchase ledgers from receipt of invoice to payment. Liaise with Central Services and develop good working relationship for management of Purchase Ledgers.

- In addition to the above, the job holder is expected to undertake any task as directed by his/her line manager that could be reasonably expected within the remit described and is within his/her capability.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
1.
Formal Qualifications and Experience
- Educated to GCSE level.
2.
Specific Skills and Abilities
- Possess good IT skills, exposure to working in a computerized environment. A good working knowledge of spreadsheet packages is essential
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written, accuracy, attention to detail,
- Good organization skills, management skills, and ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- SAP experience preferable, but not essential.
- Logical thought process
- Good communication skills are essential since the team operates across three sites
Job Types:

Salary:
£21,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
