REED are looking for a well-spoken Inside Sales Executive to join a newly created Inside Sales Team within a reputable global organisation.


In this role you will be responsible for soliciting sales over the phone and building relationships with prospective clients by focusing on their needs and generating opportunities.

You should be meticulous in keeping records, confident in carrying out research activities independently. and able to handle all aspects of making a sale, including resilience and persistence.

This is a permanent and full-time role.


Responsibilities:


  • Initiating sales with potential customers over the telephone
  • Asking questions to engage customers and keep the conversation going
  • Listening to the customers' needs to generate opportunities and ongoing sales
  • Gathering and documenting customer information, payment methods, purchases, and reactions to products
  • Conducting online research to investigate potential customers and identify key contacts
  • Be a key contributor to the defining and development of a target database of prospects
  • Keeping up to date on all products and informing customers of new products
  • Answering customers' questions on the products
  • Meeting sales quotas

Experience:


  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to conduct independent research and identify potential leads
  • The patience and ability to engage customers in conversation
  • Ability to connect with prospects over the phone
  • Good sales ability
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer software including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and problemsolving skills
  • The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers
  • To be resilient and comfortable with calling customers
